Telemarketing Executive

We're looking for an experienced telemarketer to help us grow existing and new customers in the FMCG market.

When we say telemarketer, we don't mean your traditional telesales representative, with a high outbound call target or reading from a script and we don't believe in unachievable bonus structures, we believe people should be remunerated fairly for the work they do and share the success of a team bonus.

We're more interested in meaningful conversations that can progress a customer to its next sales stage. Think quality of calls over quantity.

You'll have experience selling products or services over the phone and be confident in contacting existing or new customers, both big and small.

Salary:

£22,000-£30,000 Full Time equivalent salary per anum, pro rata for part time hours


Key Areas of Responsibility:


  • Proactive use of the phone to research, grow, and develop existing and new customers, by asking relevant questions
  • Keep accurate records of the conversations so these can be fed back to our clients
  • Rather than closing the sale on the phone, you will move the sales opportunity on to its next stage
  • Research and identify new business opportunities
  • Work closely with and support the sales team to achieve objectives.
  • Carry out adhoc brand specific projects
  • Actively update and maintain the CRM system to ensure contact information is available and correct
  • Carry out any other reasonable task or tasks in connection with the job function, as requested by your line manager

About You:


  • Selfstarter with a hunger to succeed
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to utilise all channels of communications.
  • Proven experience as a telemarketer/telesales representative, either warm or cold calling
  • Great time management, prioritising, and organisational skills
  • Experience in FMCG preferred but not essential
