    The practice boasts a rich history spanning over 70 years, providing comprehensive veterinary care to a diverse range of clients including small animals, farms, and equine patients within local communities.

    With two branches located in the charming Jurassic coastal town of Sidmouth and the nearby bustling market town, the team actively participates in various local charity events and takes pride in offering a 24-hour service for all their mixed veterinary work. Activities include organizing fun dog shows, coffee mornings, and Christmas stalls, demonstrating the team's commitment to community involvement.

    You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team comprising veterinary, nursing, and administrative professionals who work across both sites. The team is currently working on plans to reorganize the two premises, which will facilitate further growth and development opportunities.

    Your role will involve completing first-opinion work, including small animal consults and surgical caseloads, which may involve elements of sole charge responsibility. There is also an opportunity available for mentoring junior colleagues, allowing you to develop your skills and experience.

    If your preference is for mixed or small animal/equine work, we would welcome your application as we have the flexibility to consider these roles. We are also happy to discuss part-time hours and create a rota that suits your needs.

    Typically, full-time Vets work 10 hours across 4 days per week, with 1:4 weekends on call. Salary details will be discussed during the interview process, taking into account your level of experience and qualifications.
