Design Portfolio is seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative and ambitious person to join

Ever Sustainable, the fast-growing, forward-thinking and research-led sustainability impact consultancy within Design Portfolio.

We are searching for someone with a strong strategic brain, a passion for sustainability, commitment to new methodologies and innovation approaches, excellent client service skills and who loves working in a high-impact team.

You will be required to get under the skin of our clients' businesses to quickly understand how they work and to gain a solid understanding of their sustainability landscape, helping to advise them on how best to transform their sustainability strategies.

Main responsibilities

• Undertake industryspecific research to get deep into the needs of our clients
• Stay on top of the latest trends, market drivers, academic and industry research in the sustainability arena: we are interested in any specialism you might have in systemsled approaches, biodiversity, 'just transition', net zero and carbon accounting, but none of these are vital.
• Undertake materiality assessments, which are researchbased assessments of the key issues a firm needs to focus on in sustainability.
• Develop sustainability strategies in cocreation with our clients.
• Work to support alignment with international frameworks: we are interested in any engagement you might have had with GRI, SASB, the UN SDGs and other frameworks, but this is not vital.
• Develop reports and presentations for our clients.
• Facilitate, attend and deliver content at client workshops, meetings and other sessions, both inperson and online.

• Act as one of the main points of contact for our clients throughout projects.
• Work closely with our delivery teams on report and/or website projects.
• Help to promote our sustainability practice credentials and wider corporate communications work to current clients and new prospects.
• Support with team admin, system updates and library management.
• Assist with the training of the wider DP team.
• Help organise and support the generation of marketing content and collateral which may include white papers, research projects, webinars, events, articles, social content etc.

Requirements:

- has two years' experience in sustainability consulting;
- is interested in research and analysing trends and developments;
- is excited by new approaches to questions, new thinking, and challenging the status quo;
- is able to understand and identify data trends;
- is able to present well and answer questions about their work in an engaged manner;
- has experience working with clients/customers on a close basis;
- has experience in business development and attracting new clients;
- may have experience working in another language than English, and across multiple geographies (desired but not required);
- has some experience in communicating detailed research in an accessible and understandable way;
- has some experience in copywriting and has an engaging and professional writing style;
- is proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel;
- is passionate about sustainability, eager to learn more about the most exciting trends in the sector, and keen to work with ambitious clients on important projects;
- likes to work in a team and by themselves, and enjoys talking about their work with others; and
- is able to work from home (due to hybrid working).
