Can you manage a team of surfacing professionals?

We are looking for a hard-working Surfacing Supervisor to plan, oversee and ensure site work is completed to the required standards, within budget and on time, by a team of operatives.

You will be responsible for visiting sites in advance and meeting clients to check requirements and agree a works programme.

You will have a professional approach and a demonstrable ability to build good client relationships.

You will also have an excellent understanding of machine
- and hand-lay operations, with both contracting and highways maintenance experience.

A commitment to Health & Safety is essential.

You will be confident in drafting risk assessments, method statements and safety plans, as well as assessing and communicating risks to the team foreman.

Once the job is complete, you will conduct reviews, cross checking the finished job with the original quotation and programme of works and provide accurate feedback.

You will have proven experience in surveying and measuring.

We seek a highly organised person who is results driven and able to work to set plans and deadlines.

You will be a great communicator and motivator, liaising effectively with both colleagues and clients to deliver the very best outcomes.

Effective management skills and the ability to get the best from your team are also key requirements.
