Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team.

As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of care, whether in a care home or through home care services.

Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Support clients with mobility and transfers
Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
Help create and implement care plans for each client
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Assist with meal preparation and feeding, if necessary
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Escort clients to appointments or social outings, if required
Document client information accurately and maintain confidentiality

Skills:

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
Compassionate and empathetic nature towards individuals in need of care
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families
Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
Proficient in using basic IT tools for documentation purposes
