Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team.
As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of care, whether in a care home or through home care services.
Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and transfers
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Help create and implement care plans for each client
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Escort clients to appointments or social outings, if required
- Document client information accurately and maintain confidentiality
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
- Compassionate and empathetic nature towards individuals in need of care
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families
- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
- Proficient in using basic IT tools for documentation purposes

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract
