Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority, based in
Nottinghamshire, which is in need of a
Legal Assistant to join their
Childcare and Adult Social Care team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for recent law graduates, experienced Legal Assistants or those legal professionals interested in public sector work.

ROLE:
Legal Assistant - Childcare and Adult Social Care

LOCATION:
Nottinghamshire

CONTRACT
: 12 months ongoing, 37 hours per week.

RATE
:
£15-£16ph umbrella

The Role:

To provide administrative and clerical support to the Child and Adult Social Care Legal Services team
To maintain and update case management systems and update department case lists
To undertake duties (where able to do so) such as scanning, printing, photocopying

The Person:

At least 6 months of previous Legal sector experience is highly desirable
It is essential to have strong administrative skills and to be a strong communicator
Comfortable in undertaking extra adhoc duties when required
This role would ideally suit a law/LPC graduate with some legal experience, although training will be provided

We also welcome referrals for this position, where a successful recommendation would be worth £250.
