Based in Warwickshire, we are currently recruiting for a
HR Officer on a
fixed term contract, until
September 2023.

This key role supports the HR team and AHDB's subsidiary company, Livestock Information Limited with a particular focus on the coordination of HR generalist activity to ensure an efficient and customer focused service.

Having a proactive, efficient and organised approach is essential along with previous experience of working in a HR capacity.


This role offers hybrid working - two/three days at our Head Quarters in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire and the remainder remotely from home.


Job description:


  • Provide professional HR support to the HR Business Partner team for HR generalist activity
  • Work with Line Managers and the Business Partner team to embed systems, processes and policies, providing consistent operational support
  • Establish, regularly review and maintain clear business process maps and workflows for HR generalist activities to maintain customer service in a joinedup way, working to automate for greater efficiency where possible
  • Support the Business Partner team and work collaboratively with the wider HR team to ensure reporting systems are maintained to include the recording monitoring and reporting of ER issues against KPI's
  • Coordinate the updating of HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation and organisational need
  • Work with the wider HR team to process starters, employee changes, leavers and other relevant administration support
  • Maintain accurate records for employees within the supporting functions

Person specification:


  • Relevant degree, HR qualification or with relevant HR experience
  • Good understanding of HR processes
  • Experience of working within a HR Business Partner team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good project management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work with a heavy and varied workload
  • Excellent team player with a can do attitude
