Resourcing Planner

Main Purpose of the role:
The Resourcing planner's role is to manage the day to day planning and allocation of resources to meet the client's demands.
Reporting to:
Anne Allison - Resourcing and Deployment Manager (RDM)
Hours of work
Monday to Friday - 8am to 5.30pm with 1 hours lunch break
Role and Responsibilities
As a Resourcing Planner you will
- Allocation of resources to jobs
- Briefing of information
- Briefing of safety communications
- Management and reporting on site diaries
- Monitoring of working hours
- Request for training
- Liaison with clients on resource requests
- Reporting of planned resource demands versus actual resources supplies
- First line of contact for pay queries
- Cascading of company policies and procedures
- Reporting via visualisation board
- Reporting on nonattendance
Health and Safety Requirements
You will
- Comply with the company's HSQE policies and all other company policies applicable to the effective discharge of your role
- Be familiar with all safety requirements relevant to your post
- Attend client and company safety meetings/briefings as required, ensuring full attendance from your team (s) where you have responsibility to do so
- Comply with fatigue management guidelines
- Requesting PPE
- Agreeing and reporting of annual leave
- Resource build up for long term plans
- Resource build up for medium term plans
- Resource build up for short term plans
- Production of Training and Competency Matrices
Technical Competency Skills

You will have the following
- Experience in the allocation of resources
- Working with several multidisciplined clients
- Communication, written verbal face to face and verbal via telecommunication
- Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Presentation skills
- Attention to detail
Qualifications and Certifications
Desirable (D), Essential (E)
You will
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Desirable HNC/HND equivalent
- Desirable O level or equivalent in English
- Desirable O level or equivalent in Maths
Skills
You will
- Have good interpersonal communication (verbal, written and listening) skills, that will support the delivery of your duties and able to clearly explain tasks and inspire others with varying backgrounds
- Have high standards of attention to detail in all aspects of your work
- Show initiative and know when to escalate issues for Supervisor/ Management support.
- Be a team player with regards to sharing information, helping to resolve a problem, working towards common goals, properly dividing tasks between team members, etc.
- Have the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
