Job Summary:


We are seeking a machine operator who is conscientious, dedicated and has good communication skills enabling them to work well as part of a small friendly team.


Main duties include (but not limited to):

  • Set up and run a number of têxtile knitting machines in accordance with manufacturing specifications
  • Monitor products coming off the machines & report any faults
  • Maintain and repair machines (when required)
  • Assist in developing new products and updating production specifications
  • Work to our high health and safety standards
  • Maintain our excellent quality standards to ISO 9001:2015

Characteristics:


Hours:

This is a permanent full-time position.

Hours per week: 39 hours (overtime is optional in autumn / winter)


Start and finish times:
06:4- 15:45 Monday - Thursday

06:4- 11:45 Fridays.

(Paid break times morning & afternoon)


Annual Leave:

The position is offered with an annual holiday entitlement of 30 days
