Description

Technical assembly operatives required to work within a workshop facility in the Bradford area (BD12) for a long term project.

Duties will include working in various part of the assembly process, this will be preparing and cutting materials (pipe, bar etc) in accordance with drawings.

Assembly of metal framework, pipework fittings and valves. Other duties will include general housekeeping duties when required. Progression is available through a pay grading schedule based on skills developed on the job and through training.

Experience Required:

A good working knowledge of Health & Safety guidelines A familiarity of working with various materials, & cutting, bending and drilling.

Understand and competent with hand and power tools. Understanding basic assembly drawings of engineering components.

Basic Electrical component knowledge Basic Mechanical component knowledge Be able to interpret technical specifications, dimensions, part numbers, assembly instructions You must be a self-starter and be able to work under limited supervision and be able to demonstrate a work ethic that reflects a logical and quality right first-time approach.
