We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Supervisor to join us to lead on the day to day supervision of contractors and develop strong working relationships to enable the delivery of a great customer experience.


The Role


Within this role you will work across a mixture of new build and investment projects covering all aspects of renewable technologies with a strong emphasis on Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar Photovoltaic Panels.

You will actively monitor Contractors to ensure we produce good quality installations in accordance with the contract design and specification for new mechanical installation projects on both retrofit projects and new build sites.


This is a key role, and we want to ensure we are delivering the required service standards and performance level whilst achieving value for money.

You will participate in regular contractor review meetings and manage contractor performance through measurement and reporting of key performance indicators and implementation of relevant contractor improvement plans.

With a hands on approach, you will also ensure that all trades operatives undertaking work are aware of their statutory duties, are adequately trained and that all relevant documentation is completed.


About you

We are looking for a Supervisor with:

  • Solid experience working in the construction sector
  • primarily the housing, building or maintenance sector.
  • Experience dealing with contractors and consultants on construction sites
  • Supervisory experience of multiple trade disciplines
  • The ability to communicate well with individual tenants, colleagues, contractors, consultants and external agencies both verbally and in writing.
  • The ability to diagnose maintenance problems and identify solutions across all trades
  • The ability to use a computerised repair and property database along with Microsoft Word and Excel software.
  • Relevant Trades and Building qualifications
