Description

We are currently looking to recruit a keen, enthusiastic and highly motivated full time Assistant Psychologist, who is looking for an exciting new chance to develop their skills to make a difference, working in a flexible, autonomous, environment.

We have a fantastic new opportunity to join our Eating Disorder Services, due to the service undergoing further expansion as part of the mental health community transformation, for which the trust is an early implementer.

This has given the teams an exciting opening, allowing the implementation of a unique new role, as an early intervention FREED clinical specialist, across children and adult Eating Disorder Services.

FREED (First episode Rapid Early intervention for Eating Disorders) is an exciting, innovative, transformative, early intervention care package for emerging adults years) presenting with an early stage eating disorder.

With the aim to reduce inpatient admissions and length of admissions by supporting service users, families and carers in the community towards their stabilisation/recovery whilst remaining in the community setting.

If you would like to discuss informally if this is the right role for you, get in touch with the Recruiting Manager which can be found on the top right-hand side of the advert.
