Our client is a New Homes Developer in the Home Counties and South East of England.

Established over 30 years ago, its aim is to build quality new homes, involving the customer at the heart of everything they do.

They are currently recruiting for an AssistantTechnical Co-ordinator to join their team in the High Wycombe area.

You will be the main point of contact for receiving and distributing all site information and will report to and work alongside the Head of Technical and their Managers.


As an Assistant Technical Co-ordinator your role will involve:

  • Collate, distribute and file all drawings and information required for all sites using Procore and internal electronic filing systems.
  • Ensure information structure across all sites is consistent and not contradictory.
  • Ensure all information filed in the office and Procore is up to date and clearly filed and labelled.
  • Liaise with local authorities and county councils to chase the progress of section agreements, Planning Conditions and S.106 obligations which will be submitted by the Technical Manager.
  • Monitor budgets for all external consultants and report all findings to the Head of Technical and relevant Technical Manager on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure NHBC (or equivalent) have all necessary information and payments to enable all relevant approvals relevant to each Construction Stage. Update CML Tracker weekly to ensure all Technical Approvals and site, test and completion certificates are in placeto enable CML certificates to be issued. Update the Head of Technical and Technical Managers each week.
  • Liaise with highway authorities where necessary to obtain any scaffold/hoarding/road closure licenses or any other licenses required from county councils or local authorities.
  • Ensure all services are chased and any road works licenses are processed and chased.
  • Check and issue specifications for both internal and external finishes and ensure the surveyors, who manage the specifications, as well as the buyers, have the agreed latest information. Ensure the technical manager has integrated them into the plans andthe Sales Director and other relevant directors have approved the Sales Specification.
  • Check brochures for the sales department to ensure dimensions/ specifications and all pictorial information is in line with planning permission and the construction drawings.
  • The Technical Team have various trackers and schedules and the coordinator would be responsible for keeping them all up to date and issuing to the Technical Manager for their actions and information.
  • Carry out all relevant instructions given by the Head of Technical are in line with the company's business. All drawings issued will be checked and coordinated by the Technical Manager.

To be considered for the Assistant Technical Co-ordinator role you must have:

  • 2+ years experience in a broad technical role.
  • Education HNC/HND as a minimum.
  • Knowledge of the house building/construction industry.
  • A flexible and agile approach to work ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Full UK driving licence, as you will be attending regular visits to sites around the South East.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and budget their own time well, with an organized and proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Highly organized and methodical as the Technical Co-Ordinator will be the main point of contact for receiving and distributing all site information.
  • Confident to communicate effectively and accurately with a wide range of people, in a professional manner.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to work well with people and to quickly establish good working relationships.
