About Us:
Extours specializes in ghost walks, paranormal investigations, and historical walking tours. With a passion for uncovering the mysteries of the past, we provide unique and immersive experiences for our customers.
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Ghost Walk Host and Marketing Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Host to groups of up to 15 people whilst ensuring to deliver an interactive and memorable experience.
- Take time to research the background of locations where you will be working and ensuring that you absorb all of the information required in order to deliver the ghost walk efficiently.
- Develop and implement social media marketing strategies to increase ticket sales and brand awareness.
- Create engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, including videos, stories, and posts.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and execute creative marketing campaigns.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with our audience.
- Analyze social media metrics and use datadriven insights to optimize marketing efforts.
- Assist with other marketing tasks and administrative duties as needed.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in hosting to groups of people or working in a similar environment.
- Passion for history and spreading awareness of our history.
- Previous experience in social media marketing and content creation.
- Proficiency in using TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube for business purposes.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Interest in ghost walks, paranormal investigations, and historical tours is preferred but not required.
- Own licence and access to your own transport is essential.
