An
Estimator is required to work for a Family-owned business based in Staffordshire specialising in shopfitting & joinery manufacturing services, from planning to design, build, manage and support to the retail sector, successfully operatingfor over 18 years.


Their clients are retailers & businesses from the franchise & independent sectors on both the high street & out of town retail parks.

Over the years our client has carried out a variety of contracts including sandwich bars, coffee shops, fast food outlets,dessert cafes, wine bars, salons, boutiques, department store concessions, warehouse stores, work for the local Staffordshire potteries & colleges & other interesting fit outs of offices & gymnasiums.


Estimator Responsibilities

  • Calculating how much a proposed project will cost
  • Researching prices and collecting quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Checking the client's requirements
  • Complete budgeting and scheduling for projects and track same.
  • Drawing up bids for work
  • Assemble accurate and well organised estimates and proposals
  • Provide clear detailed quantity take offs.

Estimator Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the estimating process with proven experience.
  • Relevant Construction Qualifications
  • Shopfitting, retail and commercial experience is a necessity
  • Local to the Central Staffordshire is desirable

Estimating Remuneration

  • Salary full time £30,000 to £40,000 (depending on experience) Part time salary depends on experience and hours.
  • Pension scheme
  • 20 days Holiday + 8 days bank holidays.
  • Monday to Friday full time or Part time hours
  • Additional benefits to be discussed at an interview stage.
