**Temporary contract until 31 March 2024| £21,575 to £21,968 per annum (Scale D) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich

Norfolk County Council's Information Governance Service is looking for a competent, resilient, well organised and self-motivated person to join us in the role of Information Governance Assistant.

In the role you will provide a range of efficient and effective administrative business support functions across the Information Governance Service.


The Information Governance Service is responsible for all aspects of the handling and sharing of information and data held by the Council, as well as the investigation of all formal complaints and representations.

You will be able to communicate well at all levels and have an adaptable approach.

An understanding of safeguarding and knowledge of the legal framework governing data and information handling and or experience dealing with complaints would be helpful, but not essential.


Many of our office-based roles are mainly working from home as part of our Smarter Working plans and to support the health and safety of all our colleagues.

We anticipate working remotely will be a key feature of this role, but some office based work will be required and your office base will be County Hall, Norwich.

Our technology platform and equipment are first class, enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good Broadband connectivity.
