Demand on our services has created an opportunity for one contentious and one non-contentious Projects & Construction Senior Associate to join the Melbourne or Brisbane team working with Partners Luke van Grieken, Stephen Natoli and Kate Muller.

Working across a range of large domestic and international projects this is a unique opportunity to pursue an area of law that presents exciting potential for career advancement and significant development opportunities.

The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows;

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients on a range of Contentious and Non-Contentious matters and large scale projects with a strong focus on energy transition
  • Advise on and draft a range of project documentation including project development and construction delivery documents
  • Manage work streams on large domestic and international projects
  • Liaise with clients and assist in negotiations
  • Assist with business development and marketing initiatives

Requirements:


  • A minimum of 5 years PQE gained within a frontend or back end construction or projects practice
  • Experience assisting on a range of energy/construction/projects matters
  • Strong client liaison skills
  • Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills
  • Strong time management & organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities simultaneously
