Location Overview:

Role Description:

This role will sit within the Global Market Loans Operations team based in London. The team currently supports various business lines within the Global Markets business.

The main trading desk supported is the Global Credit Loan Trading Desk however the team also supports additional business areas such as Mortgages, Equity Structured Finance and Commodities.

All of these business lines will have their own individual trading books and strategies and predominantly buy, sell or originate corporate loans.


Responsibilities:


  • You will be responsible for the monitoring & agreement of interest, repayments & dividends for par, distressed, and structured loans.
  • You will be responsible for the reconciliation of loan positions trading under LMA, LSTA and bespoke documentation, for both performing and nonperforming assets.
  • You will be responsible for the agreement of interest, fees & repayments on lifecycle events and restructurings for both desk and subparticipated positions
  • You will be responsible for verification and authorisation of cash payments
  • You will conduct a comprehensive review and management of loan corporate actions requests for the Global Markets Credit Trading desk
  • You will provide support to the confidentiality agreements team, helping to draft, negotiate and execute Non-Disclosure Agreements
  • You will work closely with other internal and external teams: Loan Servicing, Loan Closing, Legal, Conflicts, Compliance, Tax, Notaries, Courts, and Agent Banks

What we are looking for:


  • You will have Global Markets loans experience
  • You will have a good level of understanding of the secondary loan trading market and the forms of documentation used
  • You will have client facing experience or ability to conduct discussions with Clients in a confident manner
  • You will be risk focused able to identify issues and escalate to management.
  • You will work well in a team environment and maintain focus to achieve the goals of the team and the business.
  • You will have the ability to interact positively and effectively with all levels of management and associates.
