Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised individual to join our team as an Accounts Clerk. As an Accounts Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks within a small team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of accounting.


Duties:


  • Process clients records through to trial balance for the preparation of annual accounts
  • Prepare and maintain client financial records, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
  • Generate financial reports using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
  • Prepare VAT Returns for clients

Requirements:


  • Proven experience working in an accounting or finance role
  • Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks or Xero
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices

Job Types:
Part-time, Temp to perm

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
From £11.50 per hour
