An exciting opportunity has arisen to join University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust as a Patient Services Assistant.
University Hospitals Plymouth will be providing all Hotel Services to the organisation and are now recruiting for a variety of roles with various hours available.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are essential to maintaining hygienic and clean environments for patients, staff and visitors throughout the hospital.
Main duties of the job
A passion for customer satisfaction and excellent organisational skills are a must as you will work as part of the Hotel Services team to ensure the delivery of general environmental cleaning on the wards and Departments
The cleaning responsibilities may include:
- cleaning all the patient treatment areas
- cleaning patient isolation cubicles and bed spaces
- cleaning sanitary areas such as toilets;
- cleaning bathrooms, showers and sluice rooms
The catering responsibilities may include:
- distribute and collect information menus, taking patient orders on an electronic tablet
- liaise with CPU for any specific catering matters andreceive and load kitchen ward oven for regeneration
- plate meals to patients as per previous order and dietary needs
- serve hot and cold beverages
- cleaning of the kitchen area including using a dishwasher
