Sterling Personnel are currently working alongside an exciting and progressing company in
Derby (DE21), manufacturing high quality chairs for the care industry. This is your opportunity to learn new skills/processes and be involved in every aspect of manufacturing furniture.


Job Role:
Sewing Machinist


Location:
Derby, DE21


Hours:
Monday - Friday, 6am-4pm


Salary:

DOE

Main duties will include however not limited to:

  • Operate industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality products
  • Set up and adjust machines for different stitching patterns and fabric types
  • Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and targets
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure adherence to specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organised working area
