We are seeking to appoint a
Team Leader with the passion and dedication to manage a team of care assistants providing personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes, in the Medway community.

You will be working alongside 2 other Team Leaders to ensure our services are running smoothly and efficiently.

Hours:37.5 hours per week


Salary:
£12.76 per hour, plus on-call payments of £200 per week


Required:


  • Previous experience in a supervisory role.
  • An NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, a keen interest in starting the qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a care worker (with older people beneficial, but not essential).
  • Demonstrable ability to organise staff and other resources to meet Service User outcomes.
  • To hold a full driving licence and have the use of your own adequately insured vehicle (
    'Business Use' insurance).
  • Good communication skills, with an ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the issues relating to older people as well as an understanding of the local care system, i.e. Social Services.
  • Must be prepared to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • A dynamic team player, able to work independently and as part of a team, responding to changing circumstances and adapting on the move.
  • An understanding of care planning assessments.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Good I.T. skills.
