Service Coordinator, Community Companions

Salary scale:
£24,030.76 per annum or £14,613.30 pro rata'd per annum


Contract:
Fixed term until 31st March 2025


Hours: 22.5 hours - working flexibly

Location:
Office - Mind in Bradford, travel to other locations will be required

  • Mind in Bradford is looking for an experienced Coordinator to support the delivery of our key Community Companions service.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Coordinator to support our Community Companions programme.


This will include developing and oversight of the service, management of staff, wait list management, data auditing, reporting and being a key player in the Operational Management Team.


The role will appeal to those who have:

  • Experience of working in in a busy and demanding office environment
  • Confidence and success in using IT systems and packages, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • The ability to take the initiative and problemsolve with a cando attitude, be proactive, creative and flexible
  • Knowledge around safeguarding and disclosures
  • A positive attitude towards those with mental health difficulties and are able to respect and value people unconditionally
  • Patience, resilience and are able to cope with pressure to meet deadlines
