Full Time Nanny required in Wootton Oxfordshire 800987

This role has just become available to work for a friendly family who have two children one in year 3 of school and the other has just entered reception class.

The role is to provide daily child-focused support to assist in meeting the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of the children.

Duties would include, but are not limited to:
- providing direct hands-on practical support with the children's routines at key times of the day, as agreed with mum (e.g., helping with the morning routine, including preparation of the children's breakfast, preparing them for school (e.g., helping them get dressed, gathering school items), taking the children to school), collecting the children from school or after-school club or play dates, taking the children to activities / clubs and trips as agreed (this might involve supporting mum in these activities or completing them in her absence), helping with homework or other school-related activities, planning the children's schedules (such as arranging play dates, organising appointments for the children), preparing / providing an evening meal and assisting with bed time routines when required.

Day to day liaison with school as needs arise including being one of key emergency contacts (in the event of the children becoming unwell / having an accident during the school day).
Undertaking activities related to the children's needs: this includes, doing the children's laundry, cleaning the children's bedrooms / play areas, batch cooking meals for the children, shopping for items needed by the children; running errands related to the children
Providing support for mum in relation to the children's visits to their father (whilst he is in London or in another placement); this could involve travelling to London with mum and the children to visit their father, supporting the children (training will be provided re supporting the children in relation to their father's injury); looking after the children whilst mum spends time with her husband alone during hospital visits
Assist mum with taking the children swimming on Saturdays
Undertaking wider household activities such as grocery shopping, cleaning, managing tradespeople visiting the house (as agreed)

Minimum Experience Level for this job: 2+ years working with children of the same age and in a similar role
Training and Qualifications needed for this job: Childcare qualifications essential for this role.

Days :
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 8am-8pm and Saturdays 9am-2pm

£20 gross per hour
