A full and relevant level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent for this role and two years experience of working at a senior level is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for young children from 25 years

- create a safe and stimulating environment to promote learning
- to be a designated person for safeguarding in the pre-school and to be fully aware of safeguarding child protection legislation and to take responsibility for the implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures
- work with colleagues to meet children's needs
- recruiting staff
- maintaining records and creating management reports
- complying with environmental, health and safety and fire regulations
- keeping up to date with developments in early years care
- building relationships with relevant agencies, schools and childcare professionals

• To have sound knowledge of the EYFS and all the statutory requirements to ensure the preschool complies with Ofsted requirements

Salary:
From £10.42 per hour
