Countrywide has an exciting opportunity for an Area Director to join us in Nottingham and become part of the highly success Scotland & North England Territory.

As an Area Director, you will lead and oversee the management of all Sales branches and colleagues within your area.

You will work to meet and exceed performance on financial targets whilst driving engagement and collaboration among your teams.

Your role will involve:

Driving exceptional performance through all Estate Agency KPIs including Conveyancing and Mortgage Services.
Coaching, developing and effectively manage all employees to ensure that performance is optimised across all KPIs
Ensuring employee engagement is maximised through action planning, proactive recruitment, minimising attrition and driving retention of your teams
Managing, monitoring and reporting on the area performance against agreed key financial business indicators on the P&L. Set performance metrics to ensure delivery of income targets
Take appropriate action with branches trading at a loss, YOY deterioration or below budget
Grow market share by adopting a proactive working processes and identifying business growth opportunities to deliver a Top 3 position in every location
A proven track record in driving a highly successful estate agency business
The drive, desire and determination to want to succeed
Demonstrable experience of building and leading high performing teams in fast paced and demanding environments
Proven ability to influence, shape and lead change
Inspirational leadership ability, with approachability and humility
High levels of P&L accountability and commercial exposure

The Area Director role will offer a competitive basic salary and substantial OTE, as well as a company car and generous staff benefits.
