Description
The post holder will work as an integral part of the Contracts and Maintenance Function within the Estates Department.

You will build and manage supplier relations for Estates external suppliers, including the approved suppliers list and Intend e-portal

You will work with the Senior Estates Manager to review and optimise maintenance arrangements, eg stock levels, delivery frequency product range, availability and pricing policies

  • To plan, organise and administer Maintenance Contracts activity
  • To provide support as and when required for the Estates Maintenance Help Desk
  • The post holder will work on own initiative, manage and coordinate workload but will be guided by clearly defined procedures and polici
  • To ensure external contractors conform to the Estates Control of Contractors code of conduct compliance and the organisation's Purchasing Procedures/Policies
  • Review procurement and contracting methods to ensure the appropriate supply chain method is being utilised
  • Authorising, expediting and answering all invoicing discrepancies appropriate to commodity areas
  • Be responsible for checking and the electronic filing of all service and adhoc sheets, acting on any recommendations specified
  • Schedule statutory planned maintenance visits in accordance with compliance via the Planet FM System
  • Responsible for reviewing and actioning all intruder alarm activations and reporting to the management stakeholder for action
