The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) has been mandated to assist with sourcing a Senior Internal Auditor for well-known FTSE 100 company. In this role you will report to the Risk and Assurance Manager.


As a Senior Internal Auditor you will be using a risk-based approach to propose, plan and perform the audits, providing assurance on the effectiveness of controls over risks facing the company and make key solutions that balance the benefits against theassociated risks.

To drive the identification of business risk and risk monitoring. Contribute to the data analytics strategy and take responsibility for driving this forward.

You will be tasked with developing and implementing tools to analyse the companies'data and improve the efficiency of data analysis systems.

You will also be preparing/or assisting in the production of the audit reports for Risk Management and Audit and Risk committees.


To be considered for this opportunity you will need:

  • An ACA/ACCA qualification with at least 3yrs of internal audit/risk management experience or practice.
  • Experience in designing and performing data driven audits, using analytics or an awareness of key systems used by the business Knowledge/Understanding of IT control frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ISO 2700x, ITIL) and / or project assurance.
  • Experience of a complex operating environment in a large business and strong risk and control awareness.
  • Broad industry knowledge with good commercial awareness.
