Contract: Permanent, Fulltime, 37.5hrs
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am5:00pm

As a Fleet Operations Specialist, you will oversee various aspects of fleet management.

This includes reviewing and approving vehicle refurbishment appraisals, managing storage, logistics, and refurbishment operations within supplier service level agreements (SLAs), reallocating vehicles according to fleet SLAs, and handling early terminations without impacting contractual agreements.

You'll also coordinate vehicle downtime, ensuring prompt warranty repairs, issuing replacement vehicles, and reporting any issues to the Fleet Operations Manager.

Additionally, you'll manage the end-of-life process, handle driver misuse recharges, explore alternative solutions for daily rentals, and actively engage with contracts to resolve issues and promote fleet initiatives.

In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will strive to support Mitie in our decorbonisation project, Plan Zero, and collaborate with our Project Manager on electric vehicle (EV) orders and fit-out requirements.

Your tasks will include obtaining orders from business units (BUs) to transition from internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to EVs, coordinating new vehicle deliveries, and participating in on-site EV handovers to drivers.

Additionally, you'll organise EV roadshows and manage fleet operations.

Beyond EVs, you'll also understand the requirements for non-EV specialist vehicles, provide support to the Fleet Operations Manager and Fleet Project Manager, escalate issues when necessary, and actively propose improvements to existing processes.
