Heyland Recruitment are working exclusively with this world leading international manufacturer as they look to recruit a qualified FP&A Analyst to join their finance function in this newly created role.

As FP&A analyst you will be supplied with continuous opportunities for development and progression whilst being given the opportunity to add real value to a developing commercial finance operation.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the FP&A Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the profitability and financial analysis of the UK business, in this key role your main duties will include:

  • In partnership with the Operations deliver the financial business objectives and act as a business advisor
  • Controlling spend, tracking changes and cost overruns with accurate costed BOM and monthly reporting by providing a regular followup with accountable managers.
  • Identifying potential risks and opportunities in our operations.
  • Coordinating and assisting with the budget process
  • Preparing robust quarterly sales & EBITDA forecasts
  • Providing key financial support on new UK business opportunities in participating to bid activities
  • Preparing, reporting, and reviewing income statements and balance sheets
  • Producing accurate and insightful commentary on monthly performances.
  • Manage tight deadlines for reporting with multichannel internal clients to collect data from

Required Experience / Qualifications:

  • Strong relationship builder with a strong capacity to work with many departments.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and thorough approach to work, with good attention to detail
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility of work, managing workload to meet deadlines
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Experience of business partnering and working across departments to deliver a positive change
  • Leadership potential and the ambition and drive to progress in the future
