Heyland Recruitment are working exclusively with this world leading international manufacturer as they look to recruit a qualified FP&A Analyst to join their finance function in this newly created role.

As FP&A analyst you will be supplied with continuous opportunities for development and progression whilst being given the opportunity to add real value to a developing commercial finance operation.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the FP&A Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the profitability and financial analysis of the UK business, in this key role your main duties will include:

In partnership with the Operations deliver the financial business objectives and act as a business advisor
Controlling spend, tracking changes and cost overruns with accurate costed BOM and monthly reporting by providing a regular followup with accountable managers.
Identifying potential risks and opportunities in our operations.
Coordinating and assisting with the budget process
Preparing robust quarterly sales & EBITDA forecasts
Providing key financial support on new UK business opportunities in participating to bid activities
Preparing, reporting, and reviewing income statements and balance sheets
Producing accurate and insightful commentary on monthly performances.
Manage tight deadlines for reporting with multichannel internal clients to collect data from

Required Experience / Qualifications:

Strong relationship builder with a strong capacity to work with many departments.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and thorough approach to work, with good attention to detail
Ability to take ownership and responsibility of work, managing workload to meet deadlines
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
Experience of business partnering and working across departments to deliver a positive change
Leadership potential and the ambition and drive to progress in the future
