About the role

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for an
HR Projects Administrator to join our Project Support Unit to work in
Newcastle Upon Tyne.



Role purpose

  • To ensure delivery of applicable scope of service against defined service measures and provide HR Administrative support for HR processes requiring changes to personal, contractual and other associated information. Ensuring the HR systems, trackers and personal records are updated accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Support the delivery of annual and adhoc HR projects; including, but not limited to salary reviews / mobilisations / redundancy / demobilisations.

What you'll be doing
As an
HR Projects Administrator** ,your main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Enter data into the HR systems and any other recording systems, ensuring this is up to date and the data entered is accurate whilst maintaining relevant documentation and filing systems, whether electronic or manual;
  • Administer HR transactions and documentation and provide data and reports as requested;
  • Support the Project Support Team by working collaboratively to deliver HR projects.
  • Closely liaise with payroll to administer payments;
  • Contribute to the effective working of HR Shared Services teams to ensure seamless service line delivery;
  • Ensure a focus on accuracy through selfreview and peer checking;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engage with wider HRSS initiatives.

Who we're looking for

The following qualifications and experience are essential:

  • Excellent HR administration experience
  • ideally within a Shared Service Centre;
  • Excellent knowledge of HR Administration processes;
  • Communicates well both verbally and in writing;
  • Flexible approach to work and is a team player with a track record of successfully prioritising work and managing time effectively;
  • Excellent organisational skills ;
  • Records information accurately.
