This is a an additional post within the team, and represents the next step in our journey to providing a modern and cohesive temporary resourcing offering to the Trust.

The post is a key service user and workforce-facing role with the primary focus of providing high quality innovative advice and solutions aimed at ensuring the Trust utilises its temporary staffing guidelines for both the Medical and Non-Medical temporary workforce and agency cover in line with the NHSI guidelines supporting the on-going reduction in external temporary staffing spend.

They will ensure a slick process is in place for the onboarding of any new flexible workers to the Trust.

The post holder will challenge decisions where necessary and use judgement to flex and interpret policy and process within temporary staffing guidelines.

They will work in consultation with the Deputy and Temporary Staffing Team Managers to ensure the operational day to day management of the Temporary Staffing Team operational needs are met working alongside the Temporary Staffing Coordinators providing a service across the full service operating hours.

They will also provide key support for improvement projects and identified knowledge/skill gaps across the Temporary Staffing Team.
