Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals in a care home or home care setting. This is a rewarding role where you will make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support individuals with mobility and transfers
  • Assist with feeding and suppporting individuals to maintain their nutrition and hydration
  • Engage in meaningful activities and provide companionship
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and the care team
  • Follow care plans and ensure individual needs are met
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance

Skills:


  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and their families
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping purposes
  • Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately

Job Types:

Pay:
£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
