We are delighted to be working with a world renowned international law firm with their search for a new BD & Marketing Manager for their Intellectual Property and Technology (IPT) practice group.

This prestigious law firm are seeking an ambitious BD professional who will lead and deliver the IP and Tech groups BD strategy.

You will work closely with the groups partners and support lawyers to seek out key strategic opportunities and turn them into tangibleBD activity.

Ideally you will have existing experience of supporting IP practice groups and/or the tech sector as an understanding of this market will help build strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Work with the partners of the IP and Tech Practice Group to develop and deliver the practice BD strategy
Work closely with the Tech Senior BD Manager to deliver the tech sector BD strategy
Work with partners to identify possible content of interest to clients and targets and to ensure production is timely and pitched appropriately for the target audience
Lead on emerging tech initiatives and support the firm's strategy of providing early support and advice for innovators and entrepreneurs
Coordinating relevant sector and practice directory submissions.

Experience/skills required

Strong BD and Marketing experience, at manager or senior executive level in legal or wider professional services
A background in IP or technology business development preferred
Confidence to develop strong working relationships with partners, associates and all members of the BD team
