Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain complex financial models to support various client engagements, including project finance, mergers and acquisitions, valuation analysis, and strategic planning.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather relevant data and assumptions, and translate them into robust financial models that align with client objectives and industry standards.
Conduct thorough analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the financial viability and risk profile of projects, investments, and transactions.
Provide strategic guidance and recommendations based on financial modeling outputs, including scenario analysis, investment appraisal, and performance optimisation.
Communicate complex financial concepts and findings to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and through written reports and presentations.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in financial modeling techniques, and integrate relevant insights into client deliverables and methodologies.
Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance on financial modeling best practices, technical skills development, and professional growth.

Qualifications:

Qualified ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) with relevant practice experience, preferably in a Big 4 or reputable financial advisory firm.
Proven experience in financial modeling, with a focus on energy, infrastructure, or environmental projects and transactions.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role, with demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of financial professionals.
Sound understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industryspecific dynamics within the energy, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.
