Responsibilities:


  • To monitor jobs flowing through production, keeping an eye on the quality of the parts being produced.
  • To check and inspect all new products before delivery to customers.
  • To ensure staff are carrying out work for the customers
  • Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.
- specifications and drawings.

  • To lease with engineering to improve the efficiency and quality of how customer jobs are manufactured.
  • To help build a quality culture by helping and training staff in the best practices and methods of manufacture.
  • To help the production supervisor and management ensure that staff works strictly within the guidelines set in the health and safety policy and that correct use of PPE is worn.
  • Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
  • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records
  • Resolve qualityrelated issues promptly

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification (but not essential)
  • Certification in quality control is preferred.
  • Preferable a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good math and technical skills.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
