£23,000
Working hours: 37.5hrs per week 8am - 4pm
On behalf of the Home Office, Serco manages the Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC) for the North West of England.
We focus on assisting individuals through the asylum system, ensuring that vulnerable asylum seekers have access to the support they need along with a high standard of accommodation.
This is an opportunity for an individual who is not shy of physically demanding work, you will be working within a close-knit team where you will be responsible for delivering and installing new items of Inventory to Dispersal Accommodation properties across the North West AASC portfolio.
Your duties will include but not be limited to the installation of white goods and transportation and building of furniture and other household items, and in turn support with waste removal and decommissioning of broken appliances in properties.
What you need to do the job
Full driving licence Cat B
Excellent Geographical Knowledge
Good confident communication skills
Willingness to travel long distances
Strong IT skills including demonstrable experience of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, Forms
