Hands on role in representing and delivering excellent quality service throughout the shipping and transport industry by completing the full end to end process for air freight shipments, meet customs and compliance specifications and develop strong longlasting relationships with customers.

My client is a market leader when it comes to Priority Freight prodominantly dealing with the automotive, aviation, oil and gas industry's by providing critical freight and shipping solutions across all transport.


Description
The Ideal Air Freight Operator who will be reporting into the Air Freight Manager will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and planning consignments + providing transport solutions to customers.
  • Preparing documentation, customs, shipping quotes, bookings.
  • Liaise with 3rd party and service providers to negotiate best possible rates.
  • Communicate with internal and external teams across all levels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and new customers
  • Commute to Manchester Airport

Profile
The Ideal Air Freight Operator will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Minimum 2 years experience within similar role
  • Commercial knowledge of freight industry
  • Great Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great Organisation and Planning capability
  • Self starter and innovative.
  • Able to Commute to Manchester Airport
