Electricity North West is seeking an experienced and collaborative Arborist, Live Line Climber, to join our inclusive team in Carlisle.

This full-time arborist role comes with a salary of up to £31,466 and excellent benefits.

As an arborist, you will participate in the felling and pruning of trees adjacent to our overhead electricity supply network.

You'll always work in line with our policies, procedures and codes of practice whilst maintaining good customer relations. The Vegetation Management team has very ambitious targets in terms of spans cleared.

To achieve this, you will need to remain focused on the task at hand whilst ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with the policies and practices.

Occasionally, it may be necessary to work some anti-social hours to assist your colleagues in the Engineering and Overhead Line Teams as they work to restore the electricity supplies to our customers following damaging winter storms.

In your first week in this arborist role, you can expect to: Work as part of the Vegetation Management team, you will be responsible for keeping the overhead electricity service network clear of vegetation.

Demonstrate good communication skills
Demonstrate the ability to complete paperwork and use mobile apps
Be wellorganised, selfmotivated and able to work as part of a team.
