About the role
This role will support the work of the Internal Communications function within the Sense People Team.

The Internal Communications Coordinator will play an important role in supporting the Internal Communications Manager to ensure all Sense employees and where necessary, our volunteers, are communicated with.

The Internal Communications function works closely alongside the key decision-making groups within Sense: the Executive Team, Associate Directors and Leadership in order to inform, update and engage employees on key pieces of work.

This is a full time role, with hybrid working in our Selly Oak, Birmingham office, 2/3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Sense, understanding the work of each department.
Support the delivery of employee communications to increase awareness and engagement of key pieces of work

Understand the core functionality and purpose of our intranet and champion its use across the whole of Sense, working with key stakeholders to develop new content.

Monitor analytics and performance of our intranet to help understand and improve usage including how usage may differ between departments.

Suggest new ideas to engage with specific areas of Sense, including 'light-touch' IT users in our shops and services.

Manage the Internal Communications calendar to ensure messages are delivered on time as well as measuring the reach and impact of these communications.
