Mpeople Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a
Sales & Operations Administrator to join a thriving yet well-established business based in
Oldham, on a permanent basis.
The Sales and Operations Administrator will work within the operations department to provide administrative support to the Sales Order Processor and the Operations Supervisor.

Salary:
£22,000 - £26,000 dependent on experience

Hours:08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 14:00 Friday (could consider part-time / 28-30 hours)

Benefits: 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), extra day off for your birthday, holidays increasing with length of service, and early finish on a Friday
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Sales Order Processing and coordinating the supply of equipment from suppliers
- Customer Journey promoting proactivity in planning and scheduling the journey of the sale from order through to completion
- Liaising with Technical Support to ensure our customers' queries are dealt with fully and efficiently
- Raising pro forma invoices/invoices and chasing payments (proforma or otherwise) from our customers
- Liaising with warehouse lead, or personally organising delivery/collection of product to/from customers
- Organise trial hires or hires from sales order form, progress chasing PDI work, liaising with the customer/salesmen on dates
- Liaising and progress chasing ancillary and main suppliers on orders to ensure a smooth, delay free, product journey
- Providing reports and statistical information on a weekly basis including, but not limited to; weekly order book, WIP, Goods In, Sales (equipment/sales) Invoicing
- Ensuring that all relevant data on the CRM system (Protean) is up to date and accurate. Providing reports e.g. order reports and invoice reconciliation reports plus any ad hoc reports upon management request
- Organise all inbound freight and any export freight, liaising with freight companies and clearance agents to ensure we are getting the best price and service
- Keep on top of procedure changes in a post Brexit world
- Ensure all documentation for inbound and export freight is in order
- Develop a relationship with the company's freight forwarders
- Ensure that all import documentation is filed and easily accessibly in the case of a HMRC audit
- Recording of all transport costs to ensure we are charging the correct prices to our customers
- Scanning documents
- Notifying HMRC of vehicle arrivals into the UK
- Road registering vehicles with the DVLA
Skills & attributes needed:
- Good IT skills including Microsoft softwares strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is
essential: - Experience of working within the engineering sector and dealing with engineers is desirable
- Experience of dealing with suppliers is desirable
- Experience within export / import would be advantageous but is not essential
- Excellent rapport building and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Confident with dealing with business stakeholders of all levels
- Able to maintain great levels of accuracy / attention to detail even in fastpaced environments
