Description
Here at SupplyGo, we're looking for Behavioural Support Workers & Teaching Assistants work in a Secondary Behavioural Support centre.

The role is Full-Time, Monday-Friday, with the option of going onto a Temp-to-Perm contract.


The role will consist of working with permanently excluded pupils from the ages of 11-16, and helping them to develop their academic & behavioural skills, with the intention of helping them work towards a return to full-time mainstream education.


The Behavioural Support Worker/Teaching Assistant will be given the work by the Teacher for each class, and might be encouraged to work 1-2-1 with pupils, as well as in small groups too.

The individual will work alongside the Teacher to help deliver the lesson to the students.


We encourage applicants from Education, Support & Care, Sports Coaching as well as other backgrounds, as we appreciate that transferrable skills are a great quality to have, in the absence of Education & Teaching/Teaching Assistant Qualifications.

£75.00-£90.00 per day


Schedule:

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Chesterfield, Derbyshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (required)

Experience:

Teaching Assistant: 1 year (preferred)

  • Behaviour Support/Mentoring: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence & access to Personal Vehicle (required)
