Johnson & Johnson is looking for the new Cardiovascular and Specialty Solutions (CSS) Franchise Lead for UK.
CSS offers leading solutions for heart recovery and heart rhythm disorders—with a proud heritage of continually elevating standards of care for stroke, heart failure, and Afib patients.
n The development of a winning plan for the franchise in alignment with MedTech UK strategy and regional and global franchise direction
n Successful P&L management
n Strong and effective implementation and execution of strategies and plans to achieve both long-term and short-range objectives
n Development of the organization and its talents
Duties and Responsibilities**:
Development and execution of business strategies
n Implementation and execution of franchise strategies and translation into specific local business objectives
n Planning of sales targets and phasing, ensuring sales targets delivered and follow up progresses
n Building and executing strong and consistent marketing strategy for key products based on agreed roadmap
n Focus on creating strong Marketing Plans followed by execution to drive growth and profitability
n Leadership of new product launches/marketing programs and execution aligned with marketing plan and EMEA strategy
n Ensuring effective communication and execution of business strategies and tactics to the relevant sales team
Delivery business results
n Meeting all relevant Gross Profit and Opex targets and reaching other relevant business indicators (P&L Management)
n Driving market share versus competition
Foster internal and external relationships
n Close cooperation with EMEA Franchise and local teams to accelerate market penetration and improve patient care services
n Involvement in business discussions on Management level, J&J EMEA MedTech Board, co-responsible for delivering J&J MedTech business results
n Establishment and maintenance of top-level contacts with KOLs and hospital management
Demonstrate ethical leadership
n Responsibility for ensuring all BU activities are in compliance with all local and company regulations, policies and procedures
Team Management:
n Interviews, hires, trains and evaluates the performance of BU managers/director positions.
n Trains team and provides development opportunities, e.g., promotions
n Administers incentives and provides motivation as needed
n Develops successors through setting specific development plans for the team.
n Reinforces and leverages diversity & inclusion in the workplace to drive innovation and strong business results
Qualifications:
n Experienced Sales and Marketing leader with a track record of delivering results in challenging business environments
n BA/BSC. or Masters degree
n Minimum 5 years experience of leading a commercial organisation with P&L responsibility is essential.
n An outstanding demonstrable track record of leadership and results, coupled with a performance driven approach in the medical technology industry.
n Proven customer centricity. Exceptional coaching skills and a strong track record of talent development.
n Ability to think strategically and foster a culture for continuous improvement.
n Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, to deliver results within the context of a globally matrixed organization.
n Potential of 50% travel / evening working required, 1-2 nights per week away from home
