Role Profile
Our client is a thriving manufacturing business with a site in Cornwall.

They are currently looking to appoint a Plant Manager with a proven track record in change management and continuous improvement to oversee the running of a busy manufacturing operation.


Whether you are based in the local area and are looking for a new challenge, or you are based elsewhere and are interested in relocating for a fantastic new role, we would love to hear from you.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Daily management and coordination of a busy manufacturing plant
  • Overseeing all departments onsite including Production, Maintenance, Stores, Shipping, Quality and Planning
  • Ensuring profitability and optimal performance of the operation
  • Identifying and driving change management initiatives to improve plant efficiency, including continuous improvement, Lean and Six Sigma initiatives

Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record in previous Plant Manager roles
  • Experience in fast paced, high volume manufacturing environments
  • Good knowledge of engineering / preventative maintenance
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven track record in change management
