Building Services Technician - Mechanical

We are currently recruiting for a number of Mechanical Technicians in Manchester. These positions are temporary - permanent.

  • Maintenance to all mechanical infrastructure, plant and equipment
  • Installation work to include some elements of a mechanical engineering discipline

Duties will include:

  • Repair, maintenance and improvements to engineering services
  • This would include PPM (planned preventative maintenance) works, reactive maintenance works and small projects
  • Maintenance of the mechanical services infrastructure, installations and equipment
  • High quality mechanical PPM and breakdown maintenance to the mechanical infrastructure, general mechanical installations, specialist services, mechanical plant and its associated controls and mechanical equipment
  • Diagnostic and repair skills in the remedial work to all mechanical services
  • Detailed surveys and inspections

Desirable skills/ Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering or building services related discipline OR extensive vocational experience
  • Driving license
