Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:


  • Taking ownership of both the accounts payable and accounts receivable function
  • Dealing with credit control
  • Processing journals and preparing reconciliations
  • Preparing and submitting monthly and quarterly VAT returns
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Multicurrency bank reconciliation
  • Managing staff expenses

Qualifications:


  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Ability to process high volumes of invoices
  • Experience with VAT returns
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of accounting software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Selfmotivated
