Description
Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:
- Taking ownership of both the accounts payable and accounts receivable function
- Dealing with credit control
- Processing journals and preparing reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting monthly and quarterly VAT returns
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Multicurrency bank reconciliation
- Managing staff expenses
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Ability to process high volumes of invoices
- Experience with VAT returns
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Selfmotivated
