The Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies is seeking to recruit a Strategic Projects Officer to provide support for a wide variety of strategic initiatives being delivered across the five Schools that make up the Faculty.


Working with the Strategic Projects Manager, you will provide a professional support service that delivers end-to-end project management across multiple activities for senior academic staff, including initiatives such as the launch of our Centre for Educational Leadership and the delivery of the Ministry of Justice contract to provide training for Probation Officers.


You will need to be confident and adaptable with the ability to work effectively across multiple projects, functions and organisational boundaries.

You will need previous project support or coordination experience preferably in a Higher Education environment.

Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential with the ability and initiative to manage and prioritise different and conflicting workloads, whilst meeting deadlines without close supervision.
