Role Purpose:
An exciting Senior Finance Business Partner opportunity has arisen in the Corporate Functions finance team.

An experienced finance business partner is required to collaborate and partner with the Corporate Functions to drive financial analysis to enable sound business decision making.

This role reports into the Group Director, Finance Business Partner Corporate Functions and will support one or more Corporate Functions.


Key responsibilities:

  • Drive all aspects of the financial reporting, planning and forecasting to enable delivery of targets
  • Develop relationships across the function to become a trusted partner and first point of contact for all finance matters
  • Understand business drivers, challenge the business on proposed actions and highlight threats and opportunities to enable better decision making and mitigate risks early on
  • Model scenarios and make recommendations to help senior stakeholders make informed decisions and deliver the function's objectives
  • Support transformation and synergy initiatives to enable delivery of targets
  • Support investment prioritisation and capital allocation and ensure business cases are fit for purpose
  • Work effectively with the financial control team to ensure reporting and accounting is to a consistently high standard.
  • Challenge the status quo. Identify areas for improvement and drive change
  • Embed cost discipline within the business
  • Support ad hoc projects & key strategic projects for the function and finance team

Personal Qualities & Experience:

  • Recognised accountancy qualification
  • Proven track record in finance business partnering
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling background
  • Track record of leading budgets and regular forecasting process
  • Ability to deliver Csuite level material to a consistently high standard
  • Energised selfstarter, proactive in challenging status quo and solving problems to unlock value that might otherwise be overlooked
  • High attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining a view of the big picture and key objectives
  • Proven track record to interact with senior management and act a trusted partner and influence outcomes
  • Clear, concise communicator, able to present complex/technical information in a concise format this is audience appropriate
  • Strong customerfocus with a commercial attitude
  • Strive to constantly improve and lead by example
