Quality Inspector - Nottingham, United Kingdom - Brennan Industries

Description

This position will be responsible for adhering to quality assurance policies and procedures, while keeping a constant focus on customer requirements and delivery.

• Conduct inspections at First Article, inprocess, incoming and completed final inspections
• Initiate Non-Conformance reports (Material Rejection Notices) as required
• Read and interpret specifications and part prints
• Ensure calibration and maintenance is performed on all equipment
• Confirm all tools and gauges are available for all jobs
• Document information in various databases and internal programs, logs the assembly nonconformities and generates the NCR report
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for rework; confirming rework
• Perform other duties as assigned by the QA Manager

• Operate a computer and other standard business equipment and software
• Ability to use a micrometer and Vernier.
• Must be able to work autonomously with little supervision.
• Organize, set priorities and exercise sound judgment within established guidelines
• Understand and follow written and oral instructions
• Attention to detail and communication skills, oral and written
• Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment
• Flexibility and adaptability

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality inspection role.

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Nottingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
