Description

Working with Tonbridge GP practices the role will explore the impact of food, exercise, and nature (including horticulture) on a patient's health and wellbeing, this role works alongside patients in the GP therapy garden.

Hours of work:37.5, Monday-Friday

Annual Leave: 30 days plus bank holidays

Would you like to work for an innovative and progressive charity? Involve Kent aims to improve health and empower people and communities to live well.

We are looking for a Link Worker to work with GP surgeries in the Tonbridge area to improve the health of their patients and to involve them in the therapy garden.

Introducing the benefits of nature and horticulture to improve health and wellbeing working alongside patients in the garden.

You will need a positive 'can-do' attitude, high levels of resilience, excellent communication and organisation skills and the ability to attract, engage and motivate people to take up the service and achieve their goals
.

You will need to be confident in working with people with life challenges, mental health/social issues, and have a real interest or experience of gardening, nature and horticulture and the benefits these activities can bring to people.

Salary:
Up to £25,833.00 per hour
